KVCR Public Media Announces Broadcast Partnership with Ontario Reign Hockey
San Bernardino, CA: KVCR Public Media is proud to announce a new broadcast partnership with the Ontario Reign, the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, bringing local professional hockey directly to Inland Empire listeners.
As part of this collaboration, KVCR will simulcast the play-by-play radio feed of three Ontario Reign home games during the 2025–2026 season across its NPR programming on KVCR 91.9 FM. This partnership reflects KVCR’s ongoing commitment to serving the region with diverse, engaging, and locally relevant content, including professional sports.

Wednesday, January 28 at 7:00 PM

In addition to the broadcast partnership, KVCR Public Media is excited to host a special themed game night and encourages listeners and community members to attend. Ontario Baseball Night presented by KVCR Public Media will take place on Saturday, March 14 at 6:00 PM, when the Ontario Reign face off against the Coachella Valley Firebirds. Fans of public media are invited to unite for an evening celebrating local sports, community, and public broadcasting.
Listeners can tune in to the live play-by-play coverage by listening on KVCR 91.9 FM, streaming at kvcrnews.org, or downloading the free KVCR App in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
