FCC Public Files
*This section of the KVCR site is currently undergoing construction. More information will be added as it becomes ready.Public inspection files are a requirement of the Federal Communications Commission. All existing TV and radio stations in the U.S., and all applicants for new broadcast stations, are required to keep certain documents relating to the station's operation and ownership in a file, in a place where members of the public may have free access to it. These files may be maintained on a computer database accessible to the public, or as paper files, which are usually kept at the main studio of the station in question, or elsewhere in the community of license, such as the local public library.
You can find further information at the FCC's Web site in a document titled The Public and Broadcasting; (http://www.fcc.gov/mb/audio/decdoc/public_and_broadcasting.html) if you like, you can skip directly to the public files (http://www.fcc.gov/mb/audio/decdoc/public_and_broadcasting.html#PIF) section.
San Bernardino Community College District is the licensee of KVCR TV, KVCR FM and KJHP TV. We have posted the public files for KVCR TV, FM and KJHP TV on this Web site.
